Ben has been a professional cricket coach in New Zealand for over 23 years, specialising in the crucial development window of 11–17-year-old players. Over that time, he has worked long-term with dozens of young athletes — helping shape the careers of 57 elite players who trained under him for three years or more. That group includes 37 provincial representatives and 20 who have gone on to play professional or international cricket.

Ben runs a one-man, results-driven coaching system built on proven methods and lasting outcomes.

In 2015, Ben launched his online coaching platform My Cricket Coach, which attracted over 400,000 subscribers and more than 100 million video views worldwide. His unique blend of high-performance training, video-based feedback, and practical mindset coaching has resonated with players across all levels of the game.Ben’s philosophy is simple: specialise — don’t generalise. By investing deeply in each player over multiple years, he develops cricketers who can perform, compete, and thrive under pressure.
